Creating your own income: SA lockdown 2020

It’s a tough time all round as people all around the world put their lives and their livelihoods on hold. To support a family without an income is most likely one of the hardest things to do, the fear of the unknown and what the future will bring is a fear present in all of our lives right now.  

Money is tight, and in the spirit of helping each other out we’ve put together a list of ways in which you can begin to upskill and prepare yourself to make money during this time of lockdown and isolation: 

  • Focus on industries such as distance learning, entertainment and the tech and digital industry.
  • Broaden your online technical skills to cover all fields, do some online courses.
  • Build up a network.
  • Create a budget plan, and work out all tax returns.
